I am DJ for Brazilian Zouk and Kizomba/UrbanKiz dances, previously also known as DJ Skon.
In 2017, I attended my first Kizomba class and got immediately hooked on social dancing. My Zouk journey started three years later, around the pandemic times, and it was also during this period that I began organizing my own Zouk and Kizomba parties outdoors. Little did I know at the time, this initiative would start my DJ journey. I progressed from using simple playlists to automix, then to my first controller, and later to my second controller, until today, when I am fully equipped with both hardware and software.
The core of my sets lies in balancing genres and energies. With one eye on the dance floor and the other in my music library, I often improvise my sets to provide the best experience possible for the given time and crowd. While I have my favourite songs and styles to play, I am not afraid to try something different and experiment ;)
