DJ Kadre fell in love with high energy music at an early age and has never stopped learning, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of sound. Starting out as a musician, he is a highly competent guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist, and utilizes these skills as a producer. When he was asked to start applying it to electronic music through a mixing board, and the entire tapestry of universal music became available at his fingertips, he never looked back.
DJ Kadre is deeply passionate about the power of music to move people and foster good vibrations. After multiple years of private event djing, he was asked to play a New Year's Eve show in downtown Boise, and the response generated landed him a string of shows at Tom Grainey's Basement, one of downtown Boise's hottest dance clubs. Mixing four hours of anything goes music, DJ Kadre packed the dance floor and kept them partying until the lights went out. This led to a residency job at the Reef, another of Boise's finest.
