Nick Blow
An avid collector of music of black origin for over thirty years Nick grew up on various forms of soul, boogie, rare grooves, jazz, house, latin, funk, with a bit of post-punk thrown in for good measure. Rejecting the pub for all night dancing from an early age Nick has always loved to shake a leg and bust a move on the dancefloor - something that has refined and defined his dj style. Whether it’s afrotech or soulful it always has a certain groove. Over the years Nick has both promoted and played at parties along side his heroes: Dr Bob Jones, Alton Miller, Rainer Truby, Gran Réserva, Atjazz, Josh Milan, Phat Phil Cooper, Phil Asher, Paul Trouble Anderson, Ashley Beedle, Kev Beadle, Gavin Kendrick, Boddhi Satva, DJ Fiddla, Steve Harrington, Emile Nana, Joey Negro, Jamie 3:26, Terry Jones, Martín Lodge, Omar, Paul Randolph, Mark de Clive Lowe, Vanessa Freeman, Onda Sonora, the list goes on. His first radio show (after university radio) was on the ill-fated Soul24-7.com. ma
