Kruno Matošević, aka Mr. Cab Driver, was born in Travnik and first stepped behind the decks in 1997, spinning vinyl records. His sound is inspired by techno scene legends such as Jeff Mills, Kevin Saunderson, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, and Stacey Pullen. By blending Detroit techno with the atmosphere of Berlin’s underground scene, he has developed a distinctive style focused on energetic rhythms and hypnotic melodic lines.
In the early 2000s, he performed at clubs and festivals across Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2003, he moved to Croatia, where he played at beach clubs along the coast. By 2005, he was an active DJ, but then he stepped away from the scene and stopped performing publicly.
Over the years, his style softened and shifted towards house music, incorporating warmer melodies and pulsating rhythms into his selection. Today, his focus is on Deep Tech House with vocal elements, crafting atmospheric, dynamic, and emotive sets that merge hypnotic beats w
