I´m a german DJ & Promoter. Meskla comes from the spanish word "mezcla" and means the mix, which describes me as a person (european/south-american) and my style & taste.
Besides being a Club DJ, I run a Reggae Soundsystem called Boneshaker (w/mr.storm,holgerhill&cricketboy) and a project called The Mixfits (w/booty carell/Urban Bass Music). I also am part of the übernice YUM YUM movement, playing at YY Krefeld & Cologne (check chromemusic.de)
My father comes from Uruguay and gave me the gift of celebrating music of all kinds. His uncountable Mixtapes influenced me like no other thing. Hiphop, Reggae, Funk, Latin, Soul & also modern Styles like Drum&Bass and so on was the music on heavy rotation at my fathers place. The good stuff I would say. That, and living my life like its golden makes me MESKLA.
