Mark Nuering, DJ, and producer at Opus Daemonii, was born and raised in Vienna, Austria and is now based in Chicago. He comes from a musical background playing the piano as well as the drums from an early age on. Influenced by 12 tone music like Webern and Berg, it wasn’t until he moved to Chicago in 2001 that he developed a passion for electronic music. Fascinated by the sounds of industrial underground music at warehouse raves, he delivers dark, hard techno experimenting with challenging techniques using 4 decks, breaking down tracks and working with stems creating his own signature sound. With a strong focus on research he primarily works with upcoming, less known producers staying on the forefront of new developments and is persistently pushing the boundaries. His sets are characterized by uncompromising, powerful beats transmitting energetic vibes from start to finish.
