Its with thanks to my mate Andy that I first got into playing the decks back in 1997. We were just a couple of teenagers with a passion for house music, who not only loved hearing it when in the clubs and on Mixtapes, radio etc, but wanted to play all our favorites.
This led me to playing in a number of popular bars and nightclubs in Aberdeen running successful parties with my mates under the guise of Majestik, an underground house music night with guests that included Paul Woolford, Detroit Swindle, Brawther, Dusky, Green Velvet & Josh Butler. This led to additional gigs around the UK and even a few in Asia when I travelled for work.
My latest venture is called "Look Busy" which is a DJ collective of experienced selectors from the Aberdeen & Edinburgh
With age (and a wide range of gigs at bars), I widened my playing style to include Funk/Soul/Motown/Disco/70's/80's & 90's Hip Hop which I always enjoyed listening to at home from a young age.
