A friend of mine developed cancer in 2005 and asked me to DJ for a benefit he was organizing. I knew nothing about proper DJ-ing really but I just figured out an affordable down and dirty way to just do it. More and more this DJ thing began to pop up and I was overjoyed to do it. Then i realized that all these twists and turns really led me back to one of my first cool almost forgotten memories with my Uncle Mike. Heading down to the Flea Market and picking up some MIchael Jackson records and then getting home and dropping that needle to watch all in the house dance and get down. It was pure euphoria and here I am, years later finally figuring it out.
