If you’ve been around Burning Man culture in the past few decades, you’ve most likely been on the dance floor when JQ is behind the decks. Based out of San Diego, this multi genre DJ is most well known for his dirty bass prime time high energy house music sets.
He has played hundreds of events since the 90's, including massive stages like Root Society, Apex and Osiris at Burning Man, Street Scene SD and some of the biggest and hottest clubs on the west coast.
Deep, funky rhythms smoothly infused with catchy vocals and dirty basslines flow from the speaker stacks during his sets. It’s not uncommon to see the familiar “bass face” from people flocking onto the dance floor, feet shuffling to the beat with hands in the air.
Jonny has had the pleasure of opening up for some of the biggest names in dance music, including Donald Glaude, DJ Dan, FreQ Nasty, Cazztek, BT, The Crystal Method, Uberzone, Rabbit in the Moon, Frankie Bones, Bassnectar, and Terry Mullan to name a few.
