Katana J is poised to take his irresistible sound to parties across the UK and Europe. Originally from Transylvania but now based in London, Katana J’s exciting blend of various shades of techno and house has been lighting up dancefloors from Bucharest to Brixton. Pacha, the Ministry of Sound, and the infamous Golden Flame boat parties are just a few of the places that have had the pleasure of experiencing a Katana J DJ set.
Discovering the sounds of Richie Hawtin, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Joris Voorn (amongst others) turned a young Katana J on to the sounds of techno and tech-house; eventually, the desire in Katana J became too much to resist and he made the transition from the dancefloor to the other side of the DJ stand. Absorbing everything the tutors on his course at world-renowned electronic music academy Subbass had to teach him, it wasn’t long before Katana J was gathering admiration for his DJ sets.
