I call myself a DJ. I've always had an ear for music. I used to get in trouble as a kid for putting my hand in the record player to hear the noises.
My first gigs were at 6yo on my foyer stairs changing songs on tape at my parents house parties. Put behind a soundboard in church at 10, there was a fascination with the EQs and the way sounds could be morphed and adjusted to come together to create an even larger sound. Studying classical piano for 13yrs I also took vocal & musical electives throughout school. Music theory has always interested me in its patterns. Exposed to only Christian rock until my late teens I finally got into 90s rock where during the end of my senior year I landed a job in retail and heard my first electronic music, it was a couple of months later I started mixing & manipulating music. I am a product of my youth.
