Renata Tonezi, aka Miss Renats, is a São Paulo-based DJ and curator whose trajectory was shaped from within the underground scene. Before DJing, she was active as a promoter and event producer, curating parties and after-hours that energized dance floors and connected communities.
She also developed a strong curatorial practice, leading the 10-year anniversary release of Fazedores de SOM, a key Brazilian electronic music netlabel, expanding her perspective on narrative and sonic identity.
Her transition into DJing came naturally. Her sets weave house, techno, electro and breaks, combining hypnotic grooves, acid textures and organic elements, with a focus on energy progression and crowd reading.
Currently, she is artistic director and resident at NuGrooves and founder of Pressure, a platform that extends beyond the dancefloor, fostering community, curatorial depth and intergenerational exchange within the scene.
