Guyvr is definitely no stranger to his native city Toronto, and certainly no stranger to setting the floors on fire with his unique, precise blend of electronic music. After all, he’s been djing for 18 years and has begun producing electronic music since graduating from the Audio Engineering and DJ Arts Program at Trebas Institute. He’s now amassed a highly dedicated following and built up his very own repertoire of dance floor bombs. As one half of the popular techno duo Gridmode, he’s released tunes on labels such as Bosphorus Underground Recordings, Bully Beatz, Killing Machine Records and Frakture Audio and has several upcoming solo work slated for release. A Guyvr DJ set is more than just a steady beat. His music carries a positive message and communicates a deliberate story - one that bows respectfully to our heroes and root influences, yet points directly to where we’re headed next.
