Kadabra has continued to express his passion for underground dance music and fantastic DJ’s through local media since his introduction into the Austin scene nearly 15 years ago. He’s hosted a public access TV show, created 2 college radio shows and in 2012, The House Hookup podcast was born. T.H.H. brought together the best DJ's in house, techno, and disco from both Texas and the world. The show was recently retired after 156 episodes! Since 2011, he has been a contributing editor and record reviewer for 5 Magazine in Chicago. His latest gig is writing for online record store Traxsource.
When Kadabra is in the booth you can expect a wide variety of house music. It could be funky, soulful, deep, tech, or jackin’. You might catch him using the occasional scratch record. Never one to sit back and relax he enjoys keeping the mix going as long as possible, cutting between tracks and using effects to create something unique in the moment.
