Dplanet is a music producer, performing artist, vocalist, and DJ.
Born and raised in London and currently based in Cape Town, with a career spanning from the 1990s to the present day, he has released music through DJAX-UP-BEATS (NL), Peacefrog (UK), Aura Surround Sounds (UK), Gallo (Warner) (SA), Jarring Effects (FR), IOT Records (FR) and Pioneer Unit (SA), and performed at many of the world's most prestigious music festivals.
Dplanet has producer music for Yasiin Bey (FKA Mos Def) (US), David Banner (US), Wordsworth (US), Pro Kid (ZA), Ben Sharpa (ZA) and many more. Dplanet founded Pioneer Unit, one of the most influential alternative hip hop record labels in South Africa's history.
Under the name 'Human Waste', Dplanet was a founder member of controversial rap / punk / noise band, DOOKOOM. Currently, he produces for, and performs in his new band, A$CII DAGGER, and DJs a variety of UK music including grime, UK trap, UK drill and bass music.
