My favorite songs from my youth that always takes me back are Forget Me Nots by Patrice Rushen & Watching You by Slave. The first album I purchased was Rick James' Street Songs followed by my first Rap record not long after, The Sugar Hill Gang's 8th Wonder. I then added rock to my pallet. The Police, Daryl Hall & John Oates and Billy Idol and etc. In my late teens you could find me in a local b-boy crew. In my twenties, the crews gave way to dancing at house parties and clubs which gave way to djing. I traveled many places abroad with the Marines. I was stationed in Long Island, NY and lived in Roosvelt, NY. Here I developed my passion for House Music. Meeting fellow b-boys inside circle cyphers at a place in Manhattan called the Sound Factory Bar. The club was an integral venue during a peak period of house music in NYC. The UN parties featured Little Louie Vega as resident DJ. Mr. Vega's magical hands changed my life. I have spun records from Japan to SF to DC.
