Growing up on an electric diet of house and Tech House provided by their parents' record collection. DJ Straal is hard to pin down musically. Inspired by their family's love of music, DJ Straal took up the keyboard and the basic tools for creating music at the age of 15. It was only a few years later that DJ Straal discovered late night techno parties and the groovy rhythms of progressive house music. DJ Straal promptly sold their bedroom production equipments and purchased consoles, turntables and began performing at house parties, basements and abandoned warehouses.

2016 looks to be a busy year for DJ Straal as he begin his first residency at local hotspots in New York City and continues to work on making more music. Currently DJ Straal working on bunch of unreleased ID, Mashups, and 2 singles, which will be available at www.djstraal.com and will be given out for free download.
