Marc McCabe is a DJ with over 38 years of experience playing parties of all shapes and size in all corners of the globe. He was one of the first British DJs invited to the SONAR festival in Barcelona and has been a regular visitor to legendary clubs like 333 in London, Propaganda in Moscow and Skansen in Oslo.
His more anonymous profile is likely due to his roots in the house & techno party scene in Scotland in the 1990s. Originally starting out filling in for the local DJ in his hometown nightclub in 1987, Marc soon moved on to promoting his own events. Whilst he was running his own hair salon Marcconcentrated his efforts on bringing the best underground house & techno DJs to the west coast. He teamed up with Glasgow Underground’s Kevin McKay and created club nights in Glasgow and two west coast towns and invited world-class DJs like Andrew Weatherall, Deep Dish, Chez Damier & Francois Kevorkian to play for them. By the late 90s had led him to setting up Under The Counter Records
