Frooty first got into dance music at the age of 11, inspired by early rave tracks such as Vodoo Ray (A Guy Called Gerald) & 'Stakker Humunoid' (Humanoid).
He followed the Rave scene as it evolved over the years & in 1996 bought a pair of Technics 1210's, inspired by DJ's such as Vinylgroover & Brisk he taught himself to mix Hardcore, playing out at free party's.
In 1999 He got his first set at a local club night called 'Spunky'where He became a resident, building a name for himself over the years, leading to sets all over the country for various promotions (Epidemik, Missing, Ravers Reunited, Vibealite)
In 2005 He took his passion for music further by opening a shop called 'Groove Control Records' in Hereford UK.
He teamed up with local producer 'Matt Envy' in 2008 playing b2b sets of their own material & setting up a digital download label 'Groove Control Digital' as well as being signed to Jelly Beanz Records.
