My History:
A resident of Albany, NY, Eric David first came into the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene after attending the "Raves" of Woodstock 1999.
Eric began DJing (Trance genre) in 2004, with the name DJ Foreplay, opening for Hectyc Productions' "Electric City Fridays" at Clinton Street Pub (Schenectady, NY). He also performed at "Goodship Tuesdays" at B.R. Finley's (Troy, NY). In 2006, Eric David formed AREA518, hosting free, monthly EDM events at The Block House and Clinton Street Pub (Schenectady, NY).
In 2009, he decided to switch to the House genre and perform under the name Eric David. He lists his main influences as Armin Van Buuren, Quintinno, Hardwell, Dad Life, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Wolfgang Gartner.
