Music has been an integral part of Nick “Double A” Sproul’s life since his early elementary years when he first picked up a pair of drumsticks. Having watched his Father bounce from band to band, simultaneously singing and playing drums, he developed a love for being engulfed in the tremor of hard-hitting drum beats. Rhythm had always been coursing through his hands, and no matter whether in class or at the dinner table, he found it impossible to stop these rhythmic patterns from emerging on any surface in site. At age thirteen he acquired the easy-to-learn Fruity Loops program and discovered that he could sequence and record these patterns that were in his head. Double A would stay up all hours of the night honing his craft and teaching himself the basics of sequencing rhythms and melodies. He also found himself very much interested in the music of his parents and grandparents and soon began sampling and chopping up classic rock and soul. At age fourteen, he joined his high school’s d
