Growing up with musical influences from almost every era and genre, Christian knew he had to get his hands on as much music as he could and have the world tune in to his playlists. In his mid-teens during the early 2000s, Christian started working as a promoter with high school and teenage parties for nightclubs and events in the San Francisco Bay Area. This ultimately led to DJing becoming a passion since he wanted to satisfy his appetite for dancing along with others by playing what the people on the dance floor wanted to hear. In 2003, a good friend gave him the nickname "Cheezy" in order not to confuse other friends with the same first name. The random name stuck and led to the stage name of "ChrisCheezy". In 2010 he formed a duo with long time friend and DJ, DJ Jason aka "J-Sw1ft", to form Swift Deejays to further energize dance floors by turning their passion into a profession.
