David Asher is the vocalist and songwriter of the legendary Detroit Reggae Rock group THE PROCESS, and now fronts the Roots Reggae project DAB David Asher Band.. Asher is an twelve time ASCAP Award winner (Popular Division), two time Detroit Music Award winner, and a recipient of many regional music awards as well. Asher is also a Reggae and Dub Selector. He hosts the official online radio program of the legendary British Dub label On.U Sound Records, (The On.U Sound Sunday Roast) since 2017, as well as occasionally guest hosting various other radio programs featuring the music of the Jamaica diaspora. In October 2021 Asher began his new online radio program, "Jamaican Passport", on The Widgeon Theatre Boat Airwaves. The program ran for one year. Asher ended it on Widgeon Airwaves in October 2022.
