Hi Y'all! I'm a member of NSAI and professionally affiliated with BMI. Having grown up in a Military family, I was born in the great state of Texas! I'm very proud of that, although I didn't spend much time there. My roots are mostly from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, where my folks were from. Currently, I call Mississippi home, since I've been here for 18 years now... Country, gospel and bluegrass were deeply ingrained into my soul, and I fell in love with all three! Musical influences ran throughout my family, from both my mothers' side and my fathers' side. I started singing at the age of about 4, and wrote my first song at age 11. At 12 I started performing anywhere and everywhere I could, and eventually went from "tip jar" gigs to real paying ones! Music has since become my joy, my sorrow, my love,
