You can tell when Dane Zen is behind the decks. The sounds emanating from the decks is that perfect of driving percussion and soaring musicality, pounding from the speakers, soaking everyone in bliss, drenching them in intelligent sound. On the floor, where it really matters, the crowd experiences all the peaks and troughs that make Dane Zen’s sound so unique. He might start with his ethnic take on house, gradually morph into harder territory; then, once Dane has the crowd fully in his grip, sweating and lost in the music, moving on tribal instinct, he takes them to points unknown they never expected to go.
