Ever since he can remember, Tim Johnston has always been lured to unconventional artists and the music they produce. Tim’s brother Todd turned him onto Earth Wind and Fire, Brothers Johnson, Commodores, BTO, Grand Funk Railroad early on in his life The defining moment for Tim’s thrust into the world of electronic music came in 1990 when first hearing a DJ perform at Club Krypton in Kansas City. Tim was overwhelmed by the DJ's passionate use of contrasting sub-genres into his track selection and mixing so inspired Tim, that he immediately dedicated himself to studying the history and culture of electronic dance music. Following an intense period of artistic experimentation. Tim quickly developed a unique style of his own which continues today. Tim went on to develop the skills to perform 4-6 hour sets covering all genres of underground dance music led him to 11 other residencies between 1993 and 2001. Tim is back strong for 2019 and beyond.
