Since the 90s, he’s operated just left of the mainstream; DJ, promoter, crate-digger, listener — tuned into deeper frequencies. From co-founding hedphunk and helming Friday Night Frenzies at 206live to 13 years of Oppikoppi sets, he gave a platform to boundary-pushing sounds. He supported icons like Aphrodite, Jon Carter, Stanton Warriors, Mr. Scruff, and more. His journey stretched from Red Bull Music Academy in 2003 to the release of Breakin’ ZA in 2010, a raw snapshot of SA’s breakbeat underground.
After returning to the UK in 2012, he played Camden’s Lockside Lounge, helped revive Kickin’ Radio, and later co-launched AMG Radio after gigging in Bristol. Saturdays broadcasting fluffy thump, delicious beats and the woo-woo bass.
