Starting out as just a kid on the dance floor in the Toronto rave scene in the late 90's and seeing the explosion of music and culture that came out of the city at that time. Billey Barry saw the booming Toronto underground and instantly fell in love with all aspects of music being played.
Messing around with a variety of music at the start but settling on house and the many sub genres brought on a love for the music and need to learn as much as possible about it. Track, labels, producers and as much other info that could be absorbed about that thing called house.
Hired on as sound technician at the notorious Toronto after-hours Comfort Zone was an amazing opportunity to learn about equipment and club sound systems. Along with being able to work with the best DJ's in the city and study the techniques of true turntable-ism.
