Bestwestern (With a backwards B) is a purveyor of all things funky. With a penchant for disco, house, funk, and Nu disco, Bestwestern has become synonymous with his style of fun, funky house music sets.
With over 20 years of playing parties throughout Auckland and an innate ability to read the crowd, he draws inspiration from the heydays of hip hop and funk, mixing a tapestry of sounds that pay homage to the classics while infusing them with modern disco edits.
The name, Bestwestern, was adopted from his infamous west Auckland garage where he has been putting on parties over the last decade with some of Auckland’s finest DJs and producers.
There will be no dirty sheets or an empty mini bar, this Bestwestern won’t disappoint.
