I discovered house music at around the age of 16. A few of my older friends were listening to Alan Braxe, Cassius and other French stuff. I was hooked immediately. I bought a dodgy second-hand pair of Vestax turntables in my late teens. Hundreds of hours were spent trying to tame those wild, temperamental creatures. Learning to DJ was both the highest and lowest of times. If you’ve ever tried to mix on mischievous decks, you can probably relate.
Those formative years have led me down a path of music discovery that I am truly grateful for. I’m constantly inspired by old and new sounds alike. But it’s gotta have heart and soul. I play stuff that reflects that feeling - house, funk, disco and jazzy sounds from around the world.
