I grew up with old school house music and Belgian new beat from back in the days, so mid-late eighties. Listening to Larry Heard, Steve Pointdexter, K-Alexi, Kevin Saunderson and many other house/techno pioneers. Started buying records in the beginning of the nineties and got fascinated by Louie Vega and Kenny Dope, releasing one banger after the other with Masters At Work. Continued building up my record collection since then with a mixture of soulful house, old school, disco and early Detroit techno/house. Since 2016 uploading mixes moving away from mainly house to blending many different styles of dance music, inspired by DJs having the guts to pull it all together like Antal, Marcellus Pittman and legendary Theo Parrish. My list of favourite producers is endless, but Moodymann, Louie Vega and Joe Claussell are at the top. I hope you enjoy my Soultraxx mixes, made with passion for music!
