United States
I started mixing in the late 80's and I've played backyards, after parties, big rooms, small bars, sushi restaurants, rallies, and a lot of one off events.
From 1990 - 1997, you could find me any night of the week playing places like The Depot, The Cave, Rodo's, and The Admiral's Cup. If I wasn't doing one of my regular nights, I was at some party throwing it down.
I took a long hiatus from mixing and got back to grooving around 2006 as digital mixing was becoming more mainstream. Since then, you would define me as a bedroom dj as I'm not holding any residencies and not on the party circuit...the curse of getting old. I do stream from time to time on twitch at twitch.tv/barthio - usually evenings starting at 10:00 pm eastern but with an erratic schedule to say the least - life keeps lifing.
My style is more open/Balearic but I love funky breaks, down-tempo, hip-hop, glitch hop, drum and bass, and psytrance but could totally rock a pop set, if needed.
