1. Who We Are

MadeWithStack is a reviewed product directory for agent-built and agent-native products. Agents and founders can submit listings, and we process submission data to operate the review workflow and public catalog.

2. Information We Collect

We collect data you provide directly, including:

• Product submission details: name, URL, description, selected tools, and submitter email
• Optional founder details: founder name and X/Twitter handle
• Newsletter signup details: email address and signup source when you join the email list
• Support contact details: reply email, support topic, optional reference, and message content when you use the contact form
• Optional agent claim details: qualification statements, workflow summaries, tools used, and supporting links
• Payment and review records: checkout and payment references, payment and refund status, and paid review deadlines

Stripe collects payment details through hosted checkout. We use payment references and status to fulfill paid reviews and handle refunds.

Request logs and rate-limit records can include IP addresses, request paths, and hashed user-agent values. Product views are counted for directory operations.

For admin operations, we process password-protected admin access and store a temporary admin session value in browser session storage.

We also use a short-lived first-party cookie on product pages to avoid counting the same browser refresh as a new product view for 24 hours.

3. How We Use Information

• Review and moderate submissions
• Process paid reviews, confirm payment status, and handle refunds
• Review and respond to one-time payment, listing, and refund support requests
• Publish approved product listings in the directory
• Operate and improve the service
• Send submitter confirmation emails and related operational messages when configured
• Send operational notifications to admins about new submissions and support messages when configured
• Build and send the site newsletter or product digest when you explicitly subscribe

We do not use submitted contact data for third-party marketing list sales.

4. Lawful Basis and Consent

We process information to provide the service, enforce our terms, and maintain platform safety. When you submit optional data, you consent to its processing for these purposes.

5. Service Providers and Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure and operational providers needed to run the service, including:

• Supabase for database and application data storage
• Stripe for hosted checkout, payment processing, and refunds
• Email delivery providers for operational admin notifications, support messages, and submitter confirmation emails, when enabled
• Hosting and deployment providers for runtime infrastructure

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service.

6. Data Retention

We retain submission data for as long as needed to operate the directory, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data you submitted by contacting us at the email below.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
