Yesterday, Shriners Children's, in collaboration with MUSC Children's Health, cut the ribbon on a new outpatient burn clinic, celebrating the opening of Shriners Children's Charleston. Leaders, providers, patients and families gathered to mark the occasion. As the fifth American Burn Association (ABA) verified pediatric burn center in the Shriners Children's network, the clinic expands access to MUSC's rehabilitation, reconstruction, scar management and other essential burn care services. Patient care will begin this fall!

What if your child's sleep study could happen in their own bed instead of a hospital? For families navigating craniofacial conditions, sleep assessments can be an important part of care. According to Chad Purnell, MD, of Shriners Children's Chicago, new wearable technology allows patients to be monitored while sleeping in their own beds and their normal sleep positions.
