About us
ALSAC is the largest healthcare-related charity in the United States. Founded in 1957 by Danny Thomas, our sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness needed to operate and maintain St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. While our headquarters can be found in Memphis, Tennessee, we have additional offices in more than 30 locations across the country and in Puerto Rico with positions in fundraising, marketing, digital, information technology, legal, finance and many other disciplines all supporting our lifesaving mission - Finding cures. Saving children. ® At ALSAC, we believe in hiring the best and brightest from around the globe, and in 2020 we were named #1 on Fast Company's 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators. With a concerted focus on diversity and inclusion, we value and respect the contributions of all of our employees. Our work environment encourages everyone to be their authentic selves as we strive together towards a day when “no child dies in the dawn of life.” As we look to the future, we understand that we must be relentlessly innovative. Our work helps fuel the groundbreaking research and treatment at St. Jude and ensures that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. St. Jude patient Bailey is the 2025 Purple Eagle! ✈️ Bailey, who is a sickle cell patient, was diagnosed shortly after birth and quickly referred to St. Jude. She is described as a bubbly girl who loves music and dance. The FedEx Purple Eagle program honors St. Jude patients by naming a FedEx feeder aircraft after them each year. Thank you for partnership through the years and congratulations, Bailey! 🎉💜

We were honored to welcome members of HH Global to the St. Jude campus for a special tour and volunteer experience at Target House. Your time, energy, and compassion mean so much to the families we serve. HH Global has raised over $1M since 2017 through event sponsorship and employee engagement — your partnership is helping ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. Thank you for your continued support.

Today, ALSAC welcomed this incredible group of runners and volunteers back to campus, and the excitement is still in the air. For 43 years, this inspiring event has united communities across Central Illinois through 34 satellite runs, raising funds to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Every mile run, every dollar raised, and every story shared brings us closer to a world where no child dies in the dawn of life. We are deeply grateful to the runners, volunteers, and supporters who show up with heart and purpose year after year. Thank you for running for the children of St. Jude.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our incredible partners from Signet Jewelers to the St. Jude campus to celebrate a record-breaking milestone — $10 million raised this year to support the mission of St. Jude. To mark this special occasion, Signet team members hosted a fun carnival event for St. Jude patient families, complete with games, crafts, and smiles all around. From the KAY Kafe Lawn to the hearts of every child and family who joined, the day was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. Thank you, Signet Jewelers, for your unwavering support and dedication to the children and families of St. Jude. Together, we are making a difference!
