Check out this month’s episode of EnergyCast! RSI is helping advance important environmental cleanup work in Tennessee, supporting the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management and the future of the agency’s waste management capabilities. The RSI team is conducting a two-year groundwater elevation study to help inform the design of the Environmental Management Disposal Facility (EMDF) and support the continued cleanup and transformation of the Y-12 National Security Complex and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. It’s complex work that requires technical expertise, collaboration, and a commitment to getting the details right. We’re proud of the RSI employees contributing their expertise to this important work and to the long-term environmental restoration and reindustrialization of the Oak Ridge Reservation. https://lnkd.in/eQAD3SpS #RSI #EnvironmentalRemediation #EnvironmentalRestoration #GroundwaterMonitoring #OakRidge #EMDF #EnvironmentalServices #AISFamily

At RSI, our success is driven by people who are eager to learn, take initiative, and support those around them. Sam Mazzola is a great example. As a Project Chemist, Sam supports remediation projects across multiple sites while continuing to grow his expertise in radiation health physics. A U.S. Navy veteran and former nuclear propulsion plant operator, he brings a strong technical background, a commitment to teamwork, and a willingness to help wherever needed. Recently recognized as a Shining Star by one of his peers, Sam continues to make an impact both within RSI and across the AIS family. Fun fact: Sam spent two years of his life underwater aboard a submarine. Thank you, Sam, for everything you bring to the team. #RSI #EmployeeSpotlight #OurPeople #OneAIS #ShiningStar #Teamwork #Veteran
