  • In Odem, school spirit extends far beyond the sidelines — and the new district gym gives that pride another place to gather. Designed in partnership with ODEM-EDROY ISD, the gym will support athletics, events, celebrations, and traditions that bring the community together. The project is part of a larger planning effort shaped by parents, educators, administrators, and community members looking toward the district’s future. In a community with a proud Odem Owl legacy, Pfluger is grateful to have helped create a place where that pride can continue to grow.

  • Being part of a community means showing up for the people who live and work in it. This back-to-school season, Pfluger employees donated supplies, sponsored children, and volunteered with SAMMinistries to support local families experiencing homelessness or housing instability. For families navigating those challenges, back-to-school expenses can add another layer of stress. Support from the community can help make that transition a little easier and keep resources focused on essentials like food, housing, and stability. We’re grateful to be able to support SAMMinistries and the families they serve. It’s a small way to be present, contribute, and be part of the community beyond the work we do every day.

  • Every teacher has rearranged a classroom because the lesson demanded it. Learning is dynamic, and the classroom should be, too. Too often, conversations about learning environments begin with buildings or furniture instead of a simple question: What kind of learning experience do we want students to have? At Seguin ISD, that question came first, and it shaped every decision that followed. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/eXQzySjb

  • What does student opportunity in fine arts education look like when two new high schools are planned at the same time? For Midland ISD, it starts with creating consistent opportunities for students across both campuses. See how educators, district leaders, and designers worked together to shape spaces where every student can learn, create, and grow. • Just over a year ago, this was a bare construction site. Today, it's easy to see the future taking shape. Midland High School recently celebrated its topping-out ceremony, marking the placement of the final structural beam and another major milestone toward a campus designed to support generations of students. With each milestone, the community moves one step closer to welcoming students into spaces designed for learning, connection, and opportunity — and carrying the Bulldog legacy into its next chapter. We're proud to partner with Midland ISD as that future comes to life.

  • Long before Tavo Reyes became an architect, one colorful elementary school showed him that a building could make a child feel curious, excited, and welcomed. It was the first time he realized someone had intentionally designed a place around a child’s experience. That lesson still shapes the way Tavo approaches architecture today. At Pfluger, he sees collaboration as more than working alongside others. It means supporting teammates when they need help, listening carefully to clients and stakeholders, and approaching every interaction with intention. “The interaction needs to be intentional; you need to be able to nurture and grow the relationship with that person.” For Tavo, meaningful design begins with meaningful relationships. We’re grateful for the perspective, curiosity, and collaborative spirit he brings to our team.

The most important investment in a growing community isn’t just infrastructure — it’s the next generation. North Del Valle High School is being designed for a community whose future is closely tied to opportunity, innovation, and connection. Along the SH 130 corridor, expanding manufacturing and technology sectors are reshaping the region and creating new pathways for students to imagine what comes next. The campus builds on Del Valle Independent School District’s commitment to career and technical education by making those pathways a visible and meaningful part of the high school experience. The school’s design also recognizes that belonging is essential to learning. Open courtyards, promenades, and gathering spaces create a connected campus environment where students can move, meet, collaborate, and see themselves reflected in the life of the school. Located in Whisper Valley, a sustainable master-planned community in Austin, the campus is shaped by its context and designed with a strong connection to place. Opening in Fall 2028, North Del Valle High School will serve as both a neighborhood anchor and a launch point for students, careers, and the future of Del Valle.

  • The story of Hutto High School is a story of community investment, student pride, and expanded possibility. Supported by Hutto ISD Hutto ISD’s 2022 bond and completed in 2025, the renovation represents approximately $35 million in bond-funded construction and reflects priorities shaped through community workshops. Students, families, educators, and district leaders helped define a shared vision for the campus: community pride, student ownership, visibility of student work, and welcoming spaces. That vision guided major investments in Career and Technical Education, fine arts, JROTC, and campus infrastructure, expanding the ways students can create, perform, build, lead, and prepare for life beyond high school. The renovation also improves event parking, storm drainage, and campus capacity for approximately 2,639 students. For Hutto ISD, this project is more than a renovation. It is a community investment in belonging, pride, and possibility — a campus shaped by local voices and designed for the students who will carry that vision forward.

  • In Beeville, a shared vision for a safer, more connected elementary school is taking shape. Following the community’s approval of the $62 million bond in 2024, Beeville Elementary began moving from vision to reality. The new campus reflects what families, teachers, students, and community members said mattered most: a safe campus, opportunities for learning beyond the classroom, and spaces that strengthen the connection between school and community. Today, those priorities are coming to life through layered security, outdoor learning courtyards, welcoming learning neighborhoods, and shared spaces designed to support both students and the broader community. This fall, nearly 1,200 students will walk through these doors for the first time, beginning the next chapter in Beeville Independent School District’s story. Projects like Beeville Elementary remind us that the best schools reflect the people they serve long before the doors ever open.

  • Some milestones are measured in steel. The most meaningful ones are measured in the people who come together to celebrate them. Before the final beam was lifted into place at the new Midland Lee High School, students, staff, district leaders, project partners, and community members signed it during the topping-out ceremony — a tradition that marks an important construction milestone while reflecting the community's shared investment in the future of the campus. Scheduled to open in August 2028 as part of Midland ISD's 2023 bond program, the new school will provide expanded spaces for academics, fine arts, athletics, and student life. Congratulations to Midland ISD and the Midland Lee High School community. Pfluger is proud to help create a campus whose story is already being shaped by the people it will serve.
