40,000 girls. One trailblazing role model. ⛰️ Nike ACG's “Run Together with Yao Miao” initiative inspires girls across China to dream beyond the mountains around them. The program is part of Boundless Girls, an ongoing effort to break barriers and reimagine sport for girls in schools nationwide. Known as China's "Queen of Trail Running," Yao brought inspiration directly to a participating school. "The energy and smiles from the girls was unlike anything I've seen," says Jenny Yu, SCI Future of Youth Sport Director in Greater China. "Yao Miao's presence turned the 1,800 kids into a sea of joy. Her personal stories about her running journey unlocked confidence for the entire school." The eight-week initiative culminated with 12 girls earning the chance to run alongside Yao, training shoulder-to-shoulder with their idol ahead of their first official 10K trail race.
