What if the greatest risk to your organization isn't what you're measuring, but what you're missing? Today's strongest boards are shifting their attention to execution, emerging risks, and the early warning signs that shape future success. Learn more from MSA COO Michael J. Statz, P.E., speaking through the lens of our employee-owned organization and award-winning Board of Directors:
What are the most underestimated risks affecting private company boards and how can you best monitor them? If you are going to take advice from anyone on this topic, it should be from these four individuals, all of which are members of Private Company Boards of the Year award-winning boards: Karen B. (Karen Buck), lead independent director of Edmund Optics and advisory board member of ActiveOps; Andy Gilicinski, director of Wyo-Ben, Inc. and Master Fluid Solutions; Michael J. Statz, P.E., chair and chief operations officer of MSA Professional Services; and Christopher Thomas, compensation committee chair of U.S. Venture, Inc. https://lnkd.in/gApXdrv3 Executive Leaders for Advisory Boards Naitiv Partners LHH CPG Advisor, LLC

Shell yeah, it's crawfish season! Another incredible crawfish and shrimp boil is in the books at MSA Rhinelander! This annual tradition brings in employee owners from a wide geography --- this year from St. Paul, Rice Lake, Kiel, Marshfield, Duluth, Baraboo, Appleton, and Des Moines! Some local Northwoods crayfish even made it to the party, thanks to the harvesting skills of a couple of team members. What a day. What a feast. What a tradition! #UniquelyMSA

How we LOVE seeing designs spring to life! The revitalized Metcalfe Playfield in Milwaukee is shaping up to be as dynamic and engaging as its neighborhood. This project features an upgraded walking loop, new playground areas, splash pad, basketball courts, football practice field, and more — with expanded spaces for both recreation and relaxation. MSA is proud to partner with SWA on this exciting project by providing site survey; planting, material, and amenity planning; water, stormwater, and sanitary planning; site and building electrical design; and building HVAC and plumbing design. We can't wait to celebrate the grand re-opening of Metcalfe Playfield early this fall! Stay tuned for more information, and check out this great recent article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: https://lnkd.in/g2PjMeW7
