BXP, Inc. delivered strong operational and financial performance in Q2, with FFO per share exceeding our guidance and consensus estimates by 8 cents. We delivered strong leasing - approximately 1.8M SF of leases were signed during the quarter - and occupancy gains remain on target with our business plan projections. We secured a $1.2B construction loan at attractive rates for 343 Madison and completed additional leasing on our premier workplace development to bring the project to 50% pre-leased. Last week, the San Francisco Recreation & Park Commission voted to approve the final concept design for the new park at Embarcadero Plaza. The design reflects more than a year of community engagement that included three major public meetings and thousands of survey responses and comments from residents, workers, visitors, neighborhood groups, and other stakeholders. “The transformation of Embarcadero Plaza into a new waterfront park will create a vibrant destination that strengthens the connection between downtown San Francisco and its iconic waterfront.
