How Kept compares.
Kept is narrow. It records what people told you and hands it back before you see them next — and that is all it does. Several of the products below do things Kept does not attempt, so each page says plainly where they win and who should pick them instead.
Everything on this page about the other product was read off their own site on the date shown. We don’t list prices, because they change and a stale one would be misleading.
Looking at more than two at once? Apps for remembering what people tell you puts ten of them on one page, grouped by how notes get in.
Personal CRM
Kept vs Clay (now Mesh)
Mesh — the personal CRM formerly at clay.earth, now owned by Automattic — builds a searchable network from your accounts. Kept builds a private record of what people told you.
Kept vs Dex
Dex consolidates contacts from your accounts and reminds you to stay in touch. Kept records what people told you and brings that specific thing back.
Kept vs Monica
Monica is the open-source personal CRM: a web app you type into, on their servers or your own. Kept is a phone app you talk to, and the notes stay on the phone.
