What this helps you do

Review a change, stage only what belongs, and create a local commit.

Find it in GitGlow

Open a repository, choose Changes, and choose Compose commit below the file list.

Before you start

Available on Free for a trusted local checkout without unresolved conflicts.

Steps

  1. Select a changed file and read its diff.
  2. Stage the whole file, a hunk, or supported selected lines.
  3. Enter a concise subject, choose Review commit, verify the staged summary, and confirm.

Expected result

A local commit is created from exactly the staged content; GitGlow never pushes it automatically.
