PolyTransfer Scholarships Opportunities

Did you know PolyTransfer offers scholarships for transfer students at Cal Poly Pomona? Eligible students can apply for the Osher Scholarship and the Crankstart Scholarship through the Cal Poly Pomona Bronco Scholarship Portal. Visit the portal to learn more about available scholarships for the 2026–27 academic year, search for “PolyTransfer” under Opportunities, and submit your application.

CPP Named 2023 Equity Champion

The 2023 Equity Champion for Excellence in Transfer Award from The Campaign for College Opportunity recognizes the university as an Equity Champion for Higher Education for Latinx Students. The campus ensured that over half of our Latinx/o/a undergraduate transfer students from California community colleges in 2022 were ADT earners, and of those ADT earners, over half were on a guaranteed pathway.

Grant enhances Engineering

A group of local school districts, community colleges and Cal Poly Pomona are the recipients of a $2.5 million grant to prepare more underrepresented students to complete college degrees and find careers in engineering and computer science. The PolyTransfer team regularly collaborates with local community colleges on summer academies, other grant projects and current student programming.

NTSW Celebrates 10 Years

From Oct. 21 to 25, Cal Poly Pomona will recognize National Transfer Student Week, an annual celebration of our vibrant transfer student community. Throughout the week, students can explore valuable resources tailored for transfers, including opportunities to connect with campus organizations, learn about financial literacy and career planning topics, and have some fun during midterms season. PolyTransfer has collaborated with multiple programs, including ASI, the Career Center, I Am First, the Maker’s Studio, Study Abroad, and T.R.E.E., for this year’s events.
