If you want to cook yourself, they have a lot of stuff thats free to use such as soy sauce, mirin, oil etc. But they also offer dinner prepared by the host which feels like dinner at home in a japanese household, it was delicious.They also helped me out a lot by taking me to places by car. I really enjoyed the location of the hotel, it’s like a minute walk to the station, and the size of the bunk beds was really nice(a lot wider that a lot of places). Also the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the decor in the “lobby” area was really nice. As well the female room I stayed in was honestly really enjoyable since I found the bed really comfortable and the washroom to be really nice. As well all of the workers I met were very nice and had pretty good English so if you have questions about stuff I recommend asking them, I asked for directions to Yobuko and the lady made sure to look up the bus times to get there for me. I also really enjoyed the breakfast that you can include, although technically I chose to pay to upgrade the set every morning but it’s really not that much. I quite liked the vibe of the restaurant, very chill in the morning which is nice as I need my morning coffee to survive. It’s also quite nice as in walking distance is the castle and a really pretty Shrine. The castle is a little bit longer with the sun and heat in the summer but it’s really not far at all. Also just beside the castle is where I caught a little boat over to the island to site-see but a word of advice is start with the island as the ferry runs like once a hour and I got too nervous about missing the last one so I didn’t walk around the island as much I would have liked.

The convenience of having a well-stocked supermarket at the station proved invaluable during my stay. The room itself exceeded my expectations. Being a newly opened establishment, everything was pristine and new. I particularly appreciated their choice of MUJI products throughout the room, which added a touch of minimalist elegance. The in-room microwave was a practical addition that I used frequently. The attention to cleanliness was impressive – the housekeeping team maintained impeccable standards throughout my stay. What makes this property unique is the innovative combination of a barbershop and café on the ground floor, creating a lively atmosphere from morning till night. This vibrant setup contributed to the hotel's welcoming ambiance. When I needed to extend my stay, the staff was remarkably accommodating and helpful in arranging the additional night. The peaceful environment and comfortable setting made it an ideal place for productivity – I managed to complete a significant amount of work during my stay. The blend of convenience, comfort, and professional service makes HOTEL fah a standout choice in Saga City. Special thanks to HOTEL fah for providing such a comfortable home away from home. Super well organised. Room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming. Everything you need in the room...fridge, microwave, kettle etc One of the containers had a laundry, vending machines. Next to a 7-Eleven.

We were very happy with this hotel. It had everything we needed, excellent location, quiet, spotless - the place is brand new basically. The hotel staff were also extremely professional and attentive, they helped us with info in English, they helped us get seats at a local izakaya of our choice..We also really liked the tiny hot bath in front of the hotel where we could relax (always with some locals which was cool), soak our feet, and have a beer from the vending machine ;)

Check-in process was easy via touch-screen counter. Room is clean and well arranged. Spacious enough to fit 2 additional chairs and a small table. Bed is tall enough to stow luggage underneath. Eco-friendly refillable shampoo and soap pump-bottles instead of single use bottles. Wifi is fast and stable. There are 4 laundry and dryers located in the airy lobby area instead of some little room. Included buffet breakfast has hot cooked food. Overall a very well organised and located hotel. Would definitely stay again if visiting Saga.
