About Us
It all began with a dream.
It all began with a dream, a love for family, and a passion for life on the water. In 2022, Pamela Cole, affectionately known as “Momma Pam,” turned that dream into Well Played Charters.
After moving to sunny Florida to be closer to family, Pam set out to create something that would bring joy not only to her own life, but to the lives of others. What began as a love for boating became a passion for sharing the beauty of Tampa Bay, creating unforgettable memories, and reminding people what it truly means to Live Life Well Played.
Today, as Founder and CEO and the proud Woman at the Helm of the Well Played Charter companies, Pam leads with heart, genuine hospitality, and the belief that life's most beautiful moments are meant to be shared.
Our captains
But no great voyage happens alone.
From the very beginning, Well Played has been surrounded by an extraordinary team of trusted captains who share Pam's love for the water and dedication to creating exceptional experiences.
Captain John True
With us since day one
A retired U.S. Coast Guard captain, John has been part of the Well Played family since day one, bringing years of maritime experience and a genuine passion for the water.
Captain Fernando Lopez
Fleet Maintenance Manager
A retired U.S. Coast Guard Chief Engineer, Fernando brings decades of maritime expertise and a commitment to keeping our yachts ready for every adventure.
Captain Jason Durnin
Director of Operations
Jason helps keep everything running smoothly, making sure every charter reflects the care, attention, and hospitality our guests deserve.
Captain Michael Cole
Director of Quality Assurance
Michael helps uphold the standards and personal touches that make the Well Played experience so special.
Together, they're more than a team. They're the heart of Well Played Charters, united by a love of boating, genuine hospitality, and the joy of bringing people together.
A truly personal experience.
Today, with two beautiful, personally owned yachts in St. Petersburg, Well Played Charters offers something increasingly rare. We're not a faceless booking platform or a company simply handing you the keys to a boat. We own our yachts, know our captains, and genuinely care about every guest who steps aboard.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, gathering your favorite girlfriends, watching a breathtaking St. Pete sunset, or simply escaping the everyday, our greatest joy is helping you create memories that last long after you've returned to shore.
Because at Well Played Charters, we believe life isn't measured by the number of days we have, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Our yachts. Our passion. Your unforgettable day.
Life Well Played.
