Frequently asked questions
How long do my pages stay online?
Without an account, 48 hours. With a free account, as long as you use it: if you don't sign in for 3 months, we delete your pages, and we email you a week before and a day before. Pro pages stay online until you delete them.
Do I need an account?
No. You can drop a file and get a link without signing up. Sign in free for bigger files and pages that stay online.
What file types can I upload?
Over 85 kinds of files open as a link: PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files, pictures, videos, music, web pages, 3D models and ZIP files among them. If it's a common kind of file, it most likely works.
Who can open my files?
Anyone you send the link to. Links are random and not listed anywhere, and Google doesn't show upload.tf links. Put your site on your own web address and it can be found on Google. Add a password for anything private.
Can I password-protect a link?
Yes, with Pro. The page only opens for people who have the password.
Can I see how many people open a link?
Yes, on every plan: how many people opened it, day by day, with no cookies. Your own opens don't count. With Pro you also get an email when it's opened, and you can ask readers for their email before it opens, so you know who read it.
What does Pro add?
No upload.tf badge, a password or the reader's email before it opens, an email when it's opened, bigger files, and pages that stay online even if you don't sign in for a long time.
Drop it. Send the link.
