Short online courses: Vogue Fashion Styling, Vogue Social Media Strategy & Marketing, Vogue Creative Direction and Vogue Fashion Branding & Communication
I have completed four short online courses: Vogue Fashion Styling, Vogue Social Media Strategy & Marketing, Vogue Creative Direction and Vogue Fashion Branding & Communication.
1) The Vogue Fashion Styling online course gave me a great overview of the work of a fashion stylist - from building a stylist’s toolkit, sourcing clothes, understanding on-set shoot etiquette, to exploring different types of styling, research methods, the history of styling and even the future of fashion.
What I particularly appreciated was how practical the course was. Through weekly assignments and moodboard reviews with the course leader, I was able to apply the knowledge immediately and develop my own creative approach. One of my favorite assignments was creating my styling identity which truly helped me clarify and refine my personal sense of aesthetics.
The course also introduced me to many important creative icons and industry professionals in photography, makeup, hair and fashion. Through constant research and preparing assignments, I really sharpened my eye for styling and visual storytelling.
Behind Vogue College of Fashion are leaders from Vogue, Condé Nast and other industry experts, so I genuinely felt that I was learning from some of the best professionals in the field.
The course also helped me improve my portfolio and thanks to that, I signed with a great modeling agency.
2) The Vogue Social Media Strategy & Marketing online course is a great choice for anyone who wants to stay updated on new trends, social media platforms, current best-performing formats and the ways brands and influencers keep their audiences engaged.
What I particularly appreciated about this course was how practical it was. Throughout the program, we created a wide variety of content for assignments which allowed us to immediately apply what we learned. The course also included step-by-step video tutorials explaining how to create content professionally. For example, how to shoot products, which editing tools to use and how to build engaging visual communication for social media.
The course helped me improve my own social media presence and inspired me to experiment more with new creative ideas, formats and storytelling techniques.
3) I signed up for the Vogue Creative Direction online course because I wanted to learn how to bring my creative vision to life - how to visually tell a story, plan it and execute it.
The course covered many inspiring topics related to creative direction, storytelling, visual communication and brand identity. During the course, we analyzed and reinvented campaigns from different brands, which encouraged us to think creatively while understanding the strategic side of communication.
We also explored collaborations between brands, researched creative concepts and learned how to choose, build and manage a creative team to ensure the product and storytelling align seamlessly.
Through this course, I learned how to shape the artistic and communicative direction of a brand in a more intentional and cohesive way. It helped me better understand the relationship between creativity, storytelling and strategy, while also giving me practical tools to develop and present stronger visual concepts.
4) I completed the Vogue Fashion Branding & Communication online course with the goal of opening my mind to new ideas. After working in marketing for more than 15 years, I felt the need for fresh inspiration and wanted to step outside of my usual way of thinking and working.
The program covers many interesting topics, including the future of fashion communication, changing consumer behavior, how brands build relationships through values and touchpoints, maintaining brand cohesion internationally, digital storytelling, brand collaborations and the virtual future of fashion.
One of the things I love most about Vogue College of Fashion is the international community. During the live sessions, students shared insights about how brands interact with consumers locally in their own countries, which gave us a much broader perspective on how fashion branding and communication work across different cultures and markets.
The course inspired me to create new workshop ideas for my own clients and develop campaign concepts that focus on connection, meaning and bringing genuine value to people.
After completing this course, I truly feel that I unlocked a new level of creativity and potential within myself. It opened new doors for me professionally and influenced the way I collaborate with brands today.
