The experience was great! Very happy with the service.

I buy multiple items from Ikea and the tasker was professional, nice and quick.

Excellent work. The task was finished in 1/4 of the time it would have taken us. A quiet, tidy worker.

He was good and fast but I believe that he could have been more tidy and picked up the small stuff that where left due to the assembly.

our ikea delivery didnt come in time and ikea didnt cancel the monteur on time, so he came for nothing. I went to ikea to get it sorted and they « canceled » him and I would get a refund. Im still waiting for that refund

The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced. The Taskers, themselves are amazing. I wish I could just hire them directly, without dealing with this horrible company.

We lost access to our account when it was urgent that we communicated with our Tasker for assemblage of large furniture. We sought help with the chat bot, asked to be connected with a person, and submitted many help tickets. We did this many times for many days with no response from an actual person from the company.

There is no provision for when one loses access to one’s phone number, when 2FA is turned on. There is no alternative way to verify identity, as there are for all other tech company services.

And there doesn’t seem to be a real human working at this company.

I hope IKEA stops working with them. We will likely no longer order furniture from IKEA until they find a different way to offer assemblage.

Terrible experience.

Tasker (even though with Elite Status) bailed on me the afternoon before - task was due at 9:30 am tomorrow morning. Terrible communication from the start, would answer once a day. Customer service is not doing better. Impossible to send a simple .jpg from the start, I warned them the tasked would cancel, was told "can't happen" and now no one is avail from their side to help me sort this out.

Additional comment: of course the community manager is apologizing for this horrendous experience, asking me to write an email. Dear Community Manager, sorry that you have to endure such comments but of course I've already sent that email (two days ago actually) and of course no answer in sight.

Excellent communication prior to arrival of the handyman who was efficacious and amicable.

Excellent! Our furniture was put together quickly, without any mess, and with someone who was very attentive. Would use this service again.

My Task rabbit guy was excellent. He was very efficient, nice polite, and cleaned up after himself.

We had an appointment for the assembly of several pieces of furniture they never came for texting they couldn’t find the address. Although.I had given a very precise directions. We tried to call them back but they never answered. We notified IKEA and assembly was rescheduled for the following week this time somehow they didn’t have any problem finding the address once the assembly was supposedly finished. They told us that some of the furniture was damaged in the box and that they had damaged one while assembling it also there were several pieces of furniture that did not want to assemble stating that it was not included which is absolutely untrue as I did take every single piece of furniture that needed assembly furthermore they left all the open boxes and plastic wrappings trowed on the floor blocking entry to the house and the steps to the living room.
I try to have a conversation with them and explain that I did effectively take all the boxes relating to all the furniture that needed assembly, but they didn’t want to hear a world of it. There were particularly rude on top of everything else.
I did write to IKEA. This is a company they do hire for assembly purposes, and told them what had happened. I sent them pictures of the boxes with references of the furniture that had not been assembled as they should have, and the damaged pieces as well. I’m expecting IKEA to replace those pieces of furniture and hopefully they would send me someone else that doesn’t pertain to TaskRabbit. This experience gives quite a negative image of IKEA by the way, and I certainly will never call TaskRabbit for assembling or moving or anything else.

Excellent service! The application is very user-friendly, and the booking process was smooth and quick. The tasker was highly professional, respectful, and perfectly on time. Highly recommended!
