In my process of learning jazz piano

Excellent, but I would like an litle improvement.
In my process of learning jazz piano, I've noticed that one of the most difficult parts is memorizing the different voicings. I've missed having different tricks about interval arithmetic that would make it easier. Regards.

Hayden Hill's approach to learning and music - fabulous

Hayden's approach has been to set a high, yet achievable, bar for music instruction. Re-watching his videos always produces a new thought and creative ways of thinking about a song or an exercise. His clear-minded approach helps generate better musicality and understanding of different tunes.

While not targeted at the absolute beginner (which I was at the beginning of starting his lessons at 60+ years old), one can manage to grow and progress swiftly even for a relatively early learner on the piano (and, in my case, music). He helps build theory in an easy to grasp framework that provides a good balance to "so how do I play this?" when learning a catalogue of tunes.

He is very responsive to questions and comments and boasts a great cadre of accomplished pianist instructors like Jovino Santos Neto, whose approach is slightly different but he brings ideas textures and rhythms that stretch the mind.

I just renewed for my fifth year, and I couldn't be happier with the way that Pianogroove operates and makes me a better pianist and musician.

This program is simply incredible

This program is simply incredible. I have been a member for the past few years. My renewal is one of my annual treats. If I could give 20 stars I would. I highly recommend for anyone like me (an avid music reader with a good understanding of theory, etc.) that wants to play with more freedom. Thank you, Hayden. You are something special...

I accidentally entered the wrong email and couldn’t log in, but Hayden was incredibly professional and helped me get it sorted right away. The platform itself is fantastic—easily one of the best jazz-piano learning resources out there. Highly recommended!

Just completed my first year with pianogroove and have concluded that Hayden's online program, tutorials and answers to student questions far surpass the other two online programs that I recently cancelled. He has indeed made my world a more musical place and I love how his insights from classic jazz as well as impressionism allow students to quickly master a jazz standard with gorgeous harmonisation...

Musical Theory and Chord Structure Defined.

The musical theory and chord structure lessons on this website are amazing and so are the instructors. Each instructor breaks down the musical content in every detail. My goal is to play beautiful jazz songs on the piano and to improvise those songs. This website checks those boxes.

I have been playing the piano for a…

I have been playing the piano for a long time, first as a self-taught musician and then for a few years studying classical music with a teacher. But jazz has always seemed complex to me, and my usual finger positions for certain chords need to be deconstructed, which is not easy. I’m not starting from scratch, but I do need to go back to the basics so that the chords sound good—with fewer notes, but on the right keys.

Pianogroove has helped me level up

I'm a long time amarature piano player and wanted some guidance in how to develop my blues and gospel playing, Pianogroove has exceeded my expectations and provides excellent examples in its video lesson format. I would not recommend Pianogroove for a total beginner, knowledge of chords and note reading will help you access the content much better.
