Some really good recipes on here and useful tools for shopping planning. I subscribed for a year but not enough to warrant renewing.
The auto renew bit is where it gets annoying. My card had been stopped earlier in the year but the auto renew kept trying to charge it. When i tried to go into the app/account to cancel the renewal, the bit i needed didnt exist. I had to email directly to get it sorted. That said, it was done straight away, no bother.

I love the MOB app and all the recipes…
I love the MOB app and all the recipes are delicious and look amazing and are easy to cook. I’ve never paid for a recipe service before this but I feel like it’s well worth the price and they’re constantly adding items and improving the app to allow for better user features and use!
Refund
I thought I had cancelled my subscription, but the renewal was still taken from my account. After contacting Mob, they explained that there was an issue because my subscription had been purchased through Apple rather than directly with them.
Once I sent them the requested Apple purchase details, they processed my refund very quickly. Within two days, they confirmed that the refund had been processed and is now on its way.
I’d like to say a big thank you to Jack and Olivia, who were both extremely helpful throughout the process. They kept me updated, responded promptly, and made the whole experience straightforward. I was really impressed with the level of customer service and how efficiently everything was handled.

Shady free trials and auto subscriptions that the site makes it impossible to cancel without live chat
I wish I'd read the reviews here! I went and looked at the free trial and somehow ended up signed up to an annual subscription when it ended. Found out when they tried to bill a card (thankfully with nothing on it) at the end of the week. You go to the site to see about cancelling and it directs you to your account settings page to change your subscription. Guess what. The account settings page doesn't exist. There is no link to cancel, nothing obvious. They do not send a reminder if a free trial is ending, you are expected to just remember! They have apparently at least cancelled it after a live chat with Jess, but this just felt really shady and sneaky. Note to the company.. Be better. Be like other free trials and send a reminder to people giving them ample time to cancel. Simply have the links you're telling people to follow actually on the webpage! (In response to the company reply - I'm not the only one saying this so perhaps a review of how the site operates is a good idea?)

Great customer service, subscription feels like a ball and chain.
I used Mob years ago when it was free and some of the recipes are still weekly faves in our house. We thought to have a look to see if we can add to our faves - however, paying for a subscription is a hard pill to swallow. I used the 5 day trial but we now have a baby and a toddler so using brain power to cook new meals was ambitious to say say the least. When we have more time on our hands and brain capacity, I will re-new the subscription. Lots of lovely vegetarian means to make/eat. The customer service received was wonderful and super accommodating, thank you.

Great Customer Service – I recently contacted the team to find out why an amount had recently been taken from my credit card. Jess helped me identify how I’d signed up (I had forgotten!), How to cancel my subscription ( Which has never been used ) and also arranged a refund for the most recent annual payment. No quibbles, no drama, just honest decent Customer Service! Thank you.

Be careful with the free trial!
Be very careful with subscribing for the free trial. I’ve had to send a direct email and block payments to Mob because it was impossible to find where and how to cancel a subscription. In the EU at least, there are strict regulations around this and I can’t see how Mob are meeting those requirements.
Can’t comment on the recipes, couldn’t be bothered even trying them because of the admin issues with this app.

Paid £34.99 for the year - the price of 1 takeaway. This app offers everything; quick, extremely tasty meals that are far healthier than a takeaway and end up being cheaper, too.
Had some issues logging in on a new phone but contacted support and it was sorted within the hour.
Would recommend wholeheartedly. Don’t listen to the whiners. Get some proper snap made.

I’ve been using the app for just over a week and have tried a few recipes already. I love how you can scale the recipe and search by ingredients. The step by step instructions are easy to follow

Love Mob! Great recipes, many that are just fun to make and try out. I also had to work with their Customer Experience team, which was a breeze. An all-around great experience.
Word of warning
Word of warning- don't sign up to their free trial unless you're prepared for a complicated cancellation process and payments being taken unannounced. I didn't receive any email confirmation or terms & conditions after signing up to the free trial, and no reminder that the trial was about to expire. After 5 days I have had an annual payment taken.

I emailed the day the payment had been taken, (as I didn't find the app useful, and didn't realise the free trial was so short) but I have been denied a refund despite having only signed up 5 days ago.
